Day 1: Agadir – Marrakech
The 7 Days Morocco Tour From Agadir will starts from Agadir when we pick you up from your hotel and travel towards Marrakech. We will visit the main attractions that Marrakech has to offer before checking you in to your hotel where you will be spending the night as well as having your dinner.
Day 2: Marrakech-Ait Benhaddou-Rose Valley-Dades Gorges
Marrakech: After breakfast, we will leave Marrakech to travel along the Tizi n’Tichka Pass through the High Atlas Mountainsas we head towards Aït Benhaddou.
Aït Benhaddou: When we arrive, you will stop to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aït Benhaddou, a spectacular fortified village (Ksar). While in Aït Benhaddou you will have time for lunch, which will be in a traditional restaurant, before traveling on to Ouarzazate.
Ouarzazate: In Ouarzazate you will visit the cinema studios of Atlas & CLA Studios where many movies were produced thus being called “The Hollywood of Africa.” Atlas Studio & CLA Studios is home to many prestigious movies filmed from Lawrence of Arabia, Tea in Sahara, Black Hawk Down, Moses, Gladiator, Cleopatra, The Mummy 1 & 2, Alexander the Great, Kingdom of Heaven, Sahara, Troy, Hidalgo, Patton, The Hills has Eyes, The Way Back, Babel,Treasure Island, Jewel of the Nile, Gladiator, Ben-Hur and The Passions of Christ and even more. Also, you will visit the Kasbah Amridil,where you can observe the stunning view of the surrounding Skoura palm groves.
Kelaat M’Gouna: At the southernmost gorges is the Asif M’Goun River, which runs alongside of a small town referred to as Valley of the Roses. The Valley of the Roses is known for the extensive harvest of roses, used in the production of perfume, rose water, oil, and cosmetic products. Among the foliage you will also find groves of palm and almond trees.
Boumalne Dades: The traditional adobe houses of southeast Morocco in general and the Village of Boumalne Dades in particular are just amazing. This type of building solidifies Boumalne Dades as being distinct from the rest of the country. Your accommodations and dinner will in a hotel in Dades Valley.
Day 3: Dades Gorges-Todgha Gorges-Jorf-Erfoud-Merzouga
After an early breakfast, you will leave your hotel to travel towards the Sahara Desert, Merzouga. You will see many Berber villages scattered along the way.
Dadès Gorges: The Dadès Gorges is a scenically beautiful section of the Dades River Valley in between the Atlas Mountains and the Anti Atlas. The Gorge is best known for mesmerizing scenery and the Kasbahs set precariously along the roadside, overlooking the river below.
Tinghir: One of the most spectacular Gorges in the world, Todgha Gorges is a series of limestone river canyons in the eastern part of the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco, near Tinghir. Both the Todgha and Dades Rivers are responsible for cutting out these deep cliff-sided canyons. The heights of the canyon walls vary, but in some places can be up to 400m (1,312 ft.) high.
Tinejdad: Stop to visit a Berber village famous for its’ palms.
Jorf: Here you will stop to visit the old Canal of Irrigation. This area dates back to the 14th century and has provided water for towns and villages for several centuries.
Erfoud: Erfoud is a town in southern Morocco, in the Tafilalet-region. Erfoud has been given the name of “The Gate of Sahara Desert” as it is near the Erg Chebbi Dunes since you can actually take direct off-road route to the dunes. While traveling through Erfoud, which is known for its precious and unique fossils, we will stop to visit the workers of fossils and the Erfoud Market of Dates.
Merzouga: When you arrive to Merzouga you will be checked into your hotel for your accommodation(s) and dinner.
Day 4: Merzouga-Khamlia-Rissani-Camp in Erg Chebbi
After your breakfast you will tour the area of Erg Chebbi.
Khamlia: You will visit a Berber residence and listen to the indigenous Gnawa music, originated in West Africa. After, you will visit some deserted mines and the Oasis of the Palm Trees.
Rissani: Rissani is best known as a producer of high quality of leather. You will visit the visit the famous Market of Rissani where you can find jewelry, souvenirs, gifts, spices, art and crafts. While in Rissani your lunch will be a traditional Moroccan pizza called “Medfouna”. After you will comeback to your hotel in Merzouga and prepare for your journey to Erg Chebbi to take a camel ride into the desert where you will enjoy a night under the stars.
Erg Chebbi: From Erg Chebbi you will embark upon a camel and journey into the Sarah Desert. The camels will be packed with food and blankets, as well as the other necessities needed for this one night stay in the desert. We will trek our way through the sand to a small Oasis in the middle of the dunes. Here is where you will be spending your evening, where the sky is clear and stars sparkle and shine with intensity. Your accommodations this evening will be camping in a Nomad Berber Tent.
Once settled in at camp, a campfire will be lit and our staff will play music with drums in order to share our culture with you. Afterwards you will be severed your dinner under the Saharan skies ‘blanket of stars’ at the campfire or in the restaurant tent at the camp.
Day 5: Merzouga-Erfoud-Jorf-Todgha Gorges-Boumalne Dades-Ouarzazate
In the morning, after having a sunrise breakfast, we will break camp and ride our camels out of the desert and back to our original point of departure. You will then travel back to the hotel so that you can shower, have breakfast and collect your luggage before starting on your way back towards Ouarzazate. You will arrive to Ouarzazate in late afternoon at which time you will be checked in to your hotel for your accommodations, which includes dinner.
Day 6: Ouarzazate-Atlas Mountains-Marrakech
After your morning breakfast you will leave Ouarzazate to travel to Marrakech by way of the Atlas Mountains. We will stop in Taddart at a Berber village to have lunch in a panoramic restaurant. After you have completed your lunch we will continue on our drive towards Marrakech. Your accommodations and dinner will be at a hotel in Marrakech
Day 7: Marrakech-Agadir
After your morning breakfast you will leave Marrakech to travel back to Agadir. Once you arrive to Agadir, you will be returned to the hotel from which your tour had started and this will complete your 7 Days Morocco Tour from Agadir and end our services.
