Day 1: Marrakech
First, 6 days geological morocco tour will start with arrival at Marrakech airport and spend a day visiting famous places in Marrakech (Jamma El Fna / La Menara square / Kotobia mosque / Jardin Majorelle … etc). Dinner and overnight in Marrakech at the local hotel/riad.
Day 2: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Todgha Gorges – Erfoud
After breakfast at 8 in the morning, we will take the road to Erfoud directly with a visit to Ait Ben Haddou KASBAH, UNESCO World Heritage, after having lunch in Ouarzazate (Hollywood of Morocco), then we arrive in Erfoud, with a brief visit to the souk and the city. Dinner and overnight in Erfoud in the local hotel/riad.
Day 3: Erfoud – Boutchrafin – Merzouga
Get up at 9 am with a Moroccan breakfast, then we will take the road to CRINOIDES CANTERA the first fossils in the land that also call Flower os sea 350 million years, then visit the quarry of fossilized marble, orthossaire, ammonite, goniatite, Is the biggest reef in the world, then the DINOSAUR CANTERA and different fossilized animals, then we will have a typical picnic lunch with a charming geological view, and after that, we will go to Merzouga (Erg Chebbi dunes) to enjoy an immense sunset. Dinner and overnight in Merzouga in a hotel/riad.
Day 4: Merzouga – Taouz – Merzouga
Breakfast at 9 in the morning, then we head directly to TAOUZ – the last village in the desert, to visit the engravings on the rock that have lasted for a long time until now. Then the quartz and vanadinite MINERAL QUARRY, then the return to Merzouga, and after a shower, we will take camels crossing the dunes to sleep in a sky full of stars and sleep in tents.
Day 5: Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif
After breakfast at 9 in the morning, we will take the road to the great center of TRILOBITE in the world (Alnif city, visit to FACOPS CANTERA in TABORIKTE PEOPLE and then we cross to KALIMINE CANTERA and different types of the zone of Trilobites. Accommodation in the city of Alnif.
Day 6: Alnif – Agdez – daraa valley – tizi n tichka -Marrakech
